Q: Will childcare be provided?
Childcare will not be provided at the church during the conference.
Q: What should I bring?
We encourage you to bring a Bible, a notebook, and a pen.
Q: Will there be any extra fees, or does my Registration Fee cover everything like meals and snacks?
All meals and snacks are included in your Registration Fee, so you will not need to purchase any meals. However, if you are a latte lover, you may want to bring some extra money to purchase a specialty coffee beverage from the Highlands Cafe. Regular and Decaf brewed coffee will be provided free of charge. Additionally, Ignite merchandise will be available to purchase.
Q: Do I have to register now, or can I do it at the door?
The Ignite Conference 2011 sold out and we anticipate a capacity crowd for this year's conference. Therefore, we strongly encourage you to register early as we may not be able to offer same day registration. Additionally, we will mail a conference wristband to everyone who registers before February 11th. The wristband will serve as your "admission ticket" into Ignite, so you will NOT have to check in at the Registration Center when you arrive- you can go straight into the Main Auditorium. No lines, no waiting!!
Q: Should I come to the conference if I haven't joined the church and haven't completed the Growth Track?
Absolutely! Church membership and completion of the Growth Track are not required to attend the Ignite Conference.
Q: I have already attended a Marriage Conference in the past, so should I plan to go this year?
Most definitely! We encourage everyone to attend whether you have gone to one every year or have never participated before. The conference changes from year to year.
Q: May I invite unchurched friends or friends who do not attend Highlands to the conference?
Please do! The Ignite Conference is designed for the couples of Highlands and the people in their lives- friends, family, co-workers and neighbors.
Q: What is the typical age range of the couples that attend the Ignite Marriage Conference?
Engaged or married couples of all ages are welcome! There will be couples from every age range that attend, so whether you are 24 or 93 you will feel comfortable.
Q: I am excited about the Ignite Marriage Conference! Are there other conferences available for the other members of my family?
Yes! The Catalyst Men's Conference is scheduled for April 20-21, 2012, and there are several Student Ministries Retreats coming up. Please continue to check the website for more information about these upcoming events.
Q: Are there overnight accommodations available?
Please contact a local hotel if you are interested in overnight accommodations.
Q: Are there any special rates with local hotels for the conference?
We have secured a $89 rate with for the conference participants at the Hilton Garden Inn Birmingham at Liberty Park. Call them at 205-503-5220 and reference "Church of the Highlands - Ignite" to reserve a room at this rate.

Q: Where is the Ignite Marriage Conference located?
We will meet at the Grants Mill Campus, Auburn Campus and Tuscaloosa Campus
Q: What is the Ignite schedule?
Registration will open at 5:30 p.m. on Friday and the session will begin at 7:00 p.m. We will kick off Saturday with a continental breakfast at 8:30 a.m. For detailed schedule information, please check out the "conference details" tab on this site.
Q: Will meals be served during this conference, or do I need to provide my own?
The following meals will be served: light reception on Friday night, continental breakfast on Saturday, and lunch on Saturday. Additionally, snacks and drinks will be provided throughout the conference.
Q: Are scholarships available to cover a portion of the Registration Fee?
