We have redefined the Wednesday night experience for students to make each week intentional.
The First Wednesday worship experience offers a time for all of the families of the church to come together for an extended time of powerful worship, Communion, and empowering, in-depth teaching from God’s Word. It will be a powerful night for students as they worship and connect with all generations.
Our First Wednesday services take place on the first Wednesday of every month at 7:00 pm at every campus. For locations, visit the campuses page.
MOTION Night is a worship experience for students like no other! Each month, students from all of our campuses and around the state of Alabama join together for a powerful night of worship, teaching, community, and more! This night is impactful for all students and is designed especially to connect students who are new to a relationship with Jesus or checking out Highlands for the first time. All students will leave equipped and empowered to walk out their “next step” in their journey with Christ.
MOTION Night takes place on the second Wednesday of every month at 7:00 pm in the Main Auditorium at the Grants Mill Campus. The service concludes at 8:30 pm. Check out what’s coming up this spring at MOTION Night:
CORE is a meeting designed for students who are ready to grow in their walk with God. Built on worship, prayer, community, and leadership, CORE is an experience like no other. CORE allows students to connect in a deeper way with God and other young people who are chasing after Him while at the same time growing as leaders.
CORE meets every 3rd, 4th and 5th (when applicable) Wednesday of the month at 7:00 pm at the Grants Mill, Auburn, Fultondale, Greystone, and Riverchase campuses and at 6:00 pm at the Tuscaloosa campus. CORE meets every Sunday at 6:00 pm at the Montgomery campus and on every Tuesday at 3:00 pm at the Woodlawn campus.
Highlands Students small groups are the connection to authentic discipleship, new friendships, and tons of fun. In good times and bad, small groups are the source of life-giving relationships and support. Students will never experience all that Highlands has to offer until they connect in a small group. Small groups meet once a week in schools, homes, restaurants, or at the church. Groups are divided between age groups and based on a variety of topics that are relevant to life, so there is freedom to choose a group that fits best!

The Growth Track is a fun, step-by-step way for students to realize their potential in Christ. Through the Growth Track students will learn what it means to be a part of a church family and tools for walking with God daily. They will also discover their gifts and passions and become aware of how God can use them to do something great for His Kingdom.

Students will never be more fulfilled than when they are serving in their passion, gifting, and purpose every day. The Dream Team is a vehicle full of opportunities for students to identify their strengths and use them to live out their faith in motion through vibrant service here, in the local church.
Students can join the Dream Team at the conclusion of the Growth Track each month through Dream Team 401.
