About this Project
This trip will be geared towards helping a church plant in Bogota, Colombia with Pastor Manuel Zarate. Our team will help train leaders in his church. We will take the DNA of Highlands Dream Team and help recruit, train, and equip the leaders of his congregation to carry it out. The people of Bogota are very similar to Americans, so we will be doing relational evangelism through common interests. Bogota is a very modern city with over 10 million people.
What are the accommodations? Your team will likely stay in a guest house or hotel close to ministry locations.
What will we eat? You will eat local Colombian cuisine including fresh fruit, soup, rice, and potatoes
What should I wear? It is very important that all visiting team members dress modestly and in such a way that does not draw attention to themselves. Shorts should be knee-length, no speghetti strapped, midriff, low cut or sleeveless tops.
Money Deadlines:
- $200 deposit is due with application (app deadline is April 15th)
- 25% of cost is due May 23rd ($500 total)
- 50% of cost is due June 13th ($1,000 total)
-100% of cost is due July 4th ($2,000 total)
