About this Project
These trips are geared toward introducing others to a new culture by ministry and work projects. Highlands is partnering with "Inn Ministries" (www.innministries.org) high in the mountains of central Guatemala. Members will become a part of everyday life in the schools, businesses, and in the homes of the people in San Cristobal. They will have the opportunity to serve the needs of families as well as participating in a variety of different community projects.
What are the accommodations? Your team will stay in a guest house or hotel close to ministry locations.
What will we eat? You will eat traditional Guatemalan cuisine such as rice and beans and tortillas provided by local families and sandwiches with your team.
What should I wear? It is very important that all visiting team members dress modestly and in such a way that does not draw attention to themselves. Shorts should be knee-length, no speghetti strapped, midriff, low cut or sleeveless tops. Skirts should cover the knee at all times, and all tops must cover shoulders.
Money Deadlines:
- $200 deposit is due with application (app deadline is March 15th)
- 25% of cost is due April 9th ($325 total)
- 50% of cost is due May 1st ($650 total)
-100% of cost is due May 24th ($1,300 total)

This trip is open to all campuses, ages 18 and up.
