About this Project
Nepal is home to the world’s tallest peaks as well as home to many of the worlds remaining unreached people groups. We will minister to the unreached people by hiking into and working amongst existing mountain churches, storytelling, medicine distribution, evangelism and much more. On this amazing trip you will experience a deeper understanding of God’s heart for unreached.
What are the accommodations? Your team will be staying in local homes and hotels.
What will we eat? You will be eating Nepali food including rice, lintels, and potatoes.
What should I wear? You will be required to purchase hiking boots, a hiking pack, sleeping pad, and wear shorts (knee-length), and tee shirts. Bring raingear and long pants for evenings. The hiking pack is your primary luggage.
Money Deadlines:
- $200 deposit is due with application (app deadline is June 15th)
- 25% of cost is due August 2nd ($675 total)
- 50% of cost is due August 23rd ($1,350 total)
-100% of cost is due September 13th ($2,700 total)
Requirements
This trip is open to all campuses, ages 18 and up. Because of the extreme trekking involved in this trip, you must be in excellent physical condition to join this team.
