About This Project

Highlands is partnering with Inn Ministries high in the mountains of central Guatemala. This trip is geared toward introducing team members to a new culture by ministry and work projects. Members will become a part of everyday life in the schools, businesses, and in the homes of the people in San Cristobal. They will have the opportunity to serve the needs of families as well as participating in a variety of different community projects.

This is a family trip. Children ages 6 and up are welcome to join with at least one accompanying parent.

What are the accommodations?

Your team will stay in a guest house or hotel close to ministry locations.

What will we eat?

You will eat traditional Guatemalan cuisine such as rice, beans and tortillas provided by local families and sandwiches with your team.

What should I wear?

It is very important that all visiting team members dress modestly and in such a way that does not draw attention to themselves. Shorts should be knee-length, no spaghetti strapped, midriff, low cut or sleeveless tops. Skirts should cover the knee at all times, and all tops must cover shoulders.

Trip dates and cost are approximate.
