About This Project

Trip Focus: Street Outreach, Campus Outreach, and Building Friendships

Japan, an island nation in the East Asian Pacific Ocean, is home to 127 million people. Of these 127 million people, only about .5% claim to be evangelical Christians. The vast majority of Japanese people do not practice any religion. Instead, the Japanese culture focuses on the importance of work and school, making Japan among the most highly educated countries in the world.

About one in every two million people in Japan claim Christianity, but many are open to hearing about Jesus.  We will partner with Lifehouse Church and focus on street and campus outreach.  Many young people in Japan have never been invited to church nor heard the gospel.  Through these outreaches we will build friendships with young Japanese people who are open to hearing about Jesus and would love the opportunity to attend a church.

We welcome you to pray and ask the Lord if He wants you to be a part of this life-changing experience!  Team members who would be a perfect fit for this team will include people who love meeting new people and making new friends, those that are outgoing and active, those that have a passion for sharing Jesus with others, and those that can relate well with young people.

*Payment deadlines must be met in order to participate in this trip. Church of the Highlands uses each payment to purchase airfare and other necessary trip expenses shortly following the posted deadlines. Therefore, payments are non-refundable, and failure to meet these deadlines will result in the removal of a team member and/or the cancellation of the trip.

What are the accommodations? A clean hotel near the serve sites.

What will we eat? Amazing Japanese food.

**All payments are non-refundable**
