About This Project

Trip Focus: Work Projects, Local Church Ministry, Outreach

The beautiful Pacific coastline, vast desert flatlands, the towering Andes Mountains, and the mysterious Amazon rainforest make up the country of Peru. However, 30% of Peru’s population suffers from poverty in the midst of these beautiful landscapes. Furthermore, a large portion of the population does not realize that you can know Jesus on a personal level. On this trip, Church of the Highlands will partner with the ongoing efforts of Camino de Vida, a life-giving church in Lima seeking to impact the nation with the love of Jesus.

Camino de Vida seeks to impact the community through service. The team may participate in a variety of different ministry areas, including the following: group service projects, community outreach, serving a children’s home, and free wheelchair distribution to the many disabled people of Lima. Each trip is catered to the skill sets and gifts of the team members. If you are willing to work long, fulfilling days, we welcome you to ask the Lord if He wants you to be a part of this life-changing experience.

*Payment deadlines must be met in order to participate in this trip. Church of the Highlands uses each payment to purchase airfare and other necessary trip expenses shortly following the posted deadlines. Therefore, payments are non-refundable, and failure to meet these deadlines will result in the removal of a team member and/or the cancellation of the trip.

What are the accommodations?  - In our clean mission house in a very safe area of Lima.

What will we eat? - Amazing Peruvian food! Nothing weird and everything will be flavorful.

**All payments are non-refundable**
