Team Build Specialist (Grandview Campus)

At Highlands, we are devoted to seeing our members and attendees connected in a life-giving relationship with Jesus and planted and thriving in the local church. Our hope is that everyone experiences a fresh, enjoyable connection to God and a community of people. We are passionate about building and caring for our church team and currently have an opportunity to add a Team Build Specialist to our Team Success Department. If you feel called to full-time ministry, have the gifts, talents and experience listed below then we want to hear from you.

Skills & Qualities Required

  • Highly relational with strong communication skills.
  • At least 3 years of experience in Human Resources.
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple roles at once.
  • Calm, hospitable, and professional in fast-paced environments.
  • Comfortable coordinating schedules and logistics.
  • Tech-savvy with ability to learn and manage systems like Breezy.
  • Experience with Breezy or ATS highly desired.
  • Proactive problem-solver who brings clarity and enjoys creating structure.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as a primary point of contact for teammates navigating the hiring process.
  • Help organize and track job position requests, ensuring clarity and next steps for leaders.
  • Communicate regularly with campus and department leaders regarding open roles, candidate progress and action items.
  • Ensure candidates experience clear, timely, and life-giving communication throughout the hiring process.
  • Host candidates during final panel interviews held at Grandview, creating a welcoming and professional experience.
  • Coordinate schedules for panel interviews across campuses and departments.
  • Communicate expectations and next steps clearly to candidates and interview teams
  • Ensure interview days are well-organized and reflect Highlands’ culture and values
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in Breezy.
  • Partner closely with the Team Build Lead and broader Team Success team
