Facility Manager (Riverchase Campus)
Church of the Highlands is looking for a ministry-focused, Christ-centered Facility Director to join the Riverchase Campus. This position is directly responsible for ensuring all aspects of the building are maintained as well as providing an environment of excellence by working with campus team and the Central Maintenance team. If this position interests you, you are called to full-time ministry and meet the requirements below, we want to hear from you.
Experience and Knowledge Required:
- Must have knowledge and experience of construction & maintenance.
- Must have the ability and desire to be a leader.
- Self-motivated.
- Ability to work without supervision.
- Must be able to set & achieve goals.
- Minor computer skills required.
- Ability to follow detailed instructions and complete tasks.
- Ability to maintain good attitude in difficult/stressful situations.
- Must possess a willingness to continually learn.
- Must have a servant's heart.
- Must be willing to adapt to last-minute changes in regular schedule.
- Must be willing to work flexible hours.
Primary responsibilities include:
- Work closely with Campus Pastor to help run all facets of Ministry.
- General maintenance of the building.
- Schedule event cleaning with Central Maintenance approval.
- Schedule dumpster/compacter/roll-offs/pick-ups as needed for events with Central.
- Fill out weekly inspection list and send to Central Maintenance Team.
- Learn Fire Alarm system and its intricacies.
- Responsible for understanding HVAC functioning.
- Complete all work tickets assigned in a prompt manner.
- Responsible for making sure everything is in working order for
- services, events, and conferences.
- Always on call to serve/react to building emergencies and needs.
- Opening and locking up building for services and events.
- Develop a Dream Team to assist in areas of responsibilities, especially during services/events/conferences.
