During our three days together, high school students will set aside distractions, meet new friends, grow deeper in spiritual disciplines, and most importantly experience the presence of God in a dynamic way. See down below for more information. We can't wait to see you at Shocco Springs!

GENERAL PACKING LIST
  • Bible & Notes/Journal
  • Motion Wars Attire (Team breakdown below)
  • Sunday clothes (All students will be attending a church service at a campus on Sunday)
  • Reusable water bottle
  • Snacks
  • Extra blanket (bed sheets & one pillow will be provided)
  • Toiletries (Shampoo, conditioner, soap etc...)
  • Bath Towel (Towels will not be provided)
  • Raincoat/umbrella/jacket
FAQ's

Throughout the weekend, students will experience powerful worship, hear messages from God’s Word, and participate in small groups and breakout sessions that focus on building spiritual disciplines. They’ll also enjoy fun activities like Motion Wars (a high-energy competition) and free-time recreation.

Within the retreat registration, you can indicate if your student has any allergies or dietary restrictions. Allergy-friendly meals will be provided throughout the entire retreat.


We encourage students to attend the full retreat experience. If you anticipate a conflict, please contact your campus student director to discuss options.


For the safety of all students, we require everyone to ride campus-provided transportation. This helps us keep accurate attendance and ensures all students are accounted for during travel.

We will have a dedicated Safety Team and Medical Team onsite to handle any needs that may arise throughout the retreat.


Students will not have access to phones during retreat so they can fully engage without distraction. Parents will receive updates through a campus-specific Parent GroupMe and through our Highlands 74000 text messaging.

SAFETY AND TRANSPORTATION

For safety purposes, all students will ride the provided transportation from the campus. Please reach out to your student director at your campus as soon as possible if you have any scheduling conflicts due to athletics, extracurriculars, or other commitments.
