The Team Build Specialist plays a critical role in helping Highlands identify and onboard the right people onto our teams with clarity, care, and excellence. This role serves as a relational and operational bridge between campus leaders, hiring directors, and candidates—ensuring a smooth, life-giving hiring experience from position request through final interview. This person helps teammates understand where they are in the hiring process, coordinates interviews and panels, hosts candidates with warmth and professionalism, and ensures accurate communication and tracking within Breezy (ATS).

Construction Manager (Grandview Campus)

The Construction Manager principal responsibility is to act as the Owner’s Representative for construction, renovation, and development projects for Church of the Highlands. This role is responsible for managing the design and construction process from concept through closeout, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in alignment with the church’s mission, quality standards, and long-term operational goals.
The Construction Manager provides direct oversight of design professionals, general contractors, and owner-hired vendors, while maintaining full accountability for project budgets, schedules, and risk management.
Requirements Include:
- A follower of Christ.
- A four-year construction-related degree or engineering equivalent with combinations of technical training.
- Minimum of five years of construction experience with a minimum of three years in a leadership capacity.
- Proven experience managing budgets, schedules, and multiple stakeholders
- Strong understanding of commercial construction processes and contracts
- Excellent communication, organization, and negotiation skills
- Experience with new construction and major renovations
- Familiarity with AV, IT, and specialty systems coordination
Responsibilities Include:
- Act as the primary Owner’s Representative for assigned projects across multiple campuses
- Lead projects through planning, design, permitting, bidding, construction, commissioning, and closeout
- Serve as the church’s point of contact for architects, engineers, consultants, contractors, and vendors
- Ensure all project decisions align with approved scope, budget, schedule, and ministry objectives
